The Faculty of Biomedical Engineering has 21 academic staff members, 6 emeriti faculty members and 10 adjunct faculty members.

The research personnel includes 30 lab managers, engineers and technicians, that together run the Faculty’s laboratories, conduct research, co-author articles, supervise student projects and assist graduate students with their lab work.

The Faculty’s administrative staff includes 10 members who help with learning, teaching, HR management, construction, maintenance, industry relations, marketing, advertising, entrepreneurship and more.

The Faculty of Biomedical Engineering at the Technion welcomes applications for Faculty positions at all ranks from outstanding scientists in a broad range of fields.

Research at the Faculty of BME broadly spans fields related to human health ranging from basic to applied research, and from engineering to clinical explorations. Our research teams benefit from an advanced shared infrastructure, and cutting-edge, specially equipped laboratories supporting the specific areas of the principal investigators. Outstanding students at the bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral levels are fully integrated in research, working with state-of-the-art research methods and concepts. Our faculty graduates are leaders in biomedical industries both in Israel and globally.
