Celebrating Excellence in Medical Innovation!
We are proud to announce that Professor Amir Landesberg, head of The Molecular Cardiology Research Laboratory, and his company Levron Medical have been awarded the prestigious Jon DeHaan Foundation Med-Tech Innovation Award at the ICI Conference, a leading global forum for cardiovascular innovation.
Levron is a pioneer of a new category of Heart Failure treatment:
Cardio-Respiratory Physiological Assist (CRPA) Treatment.
Amir Ronen is the company’s CEO, and Dr. Amit Livneh is the CTO. Both are Technion’s Alumni. Dr. Shimon Eckhouse is the Chairman and Co-Founder.
This innovation emerged from extensive academic research, including two PhD dissertations and one MSc thesis, leveraging Prof. Landesberg’s unique expertise as an MD and PhD holder in Electrical and Biomedical Engineering.
The award includes a $200,000 grant to develop their groundbreaking technology further.
