Shilo Ohayon, a PhD student at Prof. Amit Meller‘s Single-Molecule Biophysics and Bio-nano Technology, won the Jacobs Excellence Reward for the best published paper for the current academic year 2020-2021.
Shilo’s Paper : “On‑chip protein separation with single‑molecule resolution”. Sci Rep 2020, 10-15313–12.
The research is in the field of single-molecule analysis and sensing. It focuses on the identification and quantification of proteins for medical purposes and disease diagnosis (medical diagnosis based on the patient’s protein profile).
