From the research lab to first place in BizTEC!

We are thrilled to announce that Hadas Omer, our PhD student from the Garini Laboratory for BioPhysics and NanoDynamics, has won first place in the Technion Entrepreneurship Competition with her startup, DNAmi, which develops dynamic DNA nanocapsules designed for the immediate treatment of acute cardiac events.

This innovation is based on smart nanocapsules engineered for targeted drug release in response to conditions within the blood vessel environment—marking a significant step toward turning breakthrough research into life-saving medical technology.
